Air Canada's latest TV campaign launches throughout Canada on April 1, highlighting the video on-demand industry-leading system and the state-of-the art Executive First Suite. The campaign, which runs throughout April and May, is founded on a simple realization: everything Air Canada offers its customers is easily accessible. Whether it's choosing which program to watch or relaxing in the surroundings of the Executive First Suite, it's all at their fingertips. "The act of finger painting is engagingly simple and inclusive; everyone in every age group
can do it, and there's no such thing as a bad finger painting. In our two 30-second TV spots, this very personal self-expression creates a sense of imaginative and magical innocence. It characterizes an emotional attachment to Air Canada among their customers, who ultimately define and shape the brand," said Nathan O'Brien, Creative Director, Marketel Communications. "Every year we welcome millions of Canadians who travel with us throughout Canada, North America and across the globe. We also bring people from around the world to visit relatives and friends or conduct their business in Canada,"
said Denis Vandal, Air Canada's Director, Marketing Communications and Brand Management. "This new TV campaign reflects our role as Canada's flag carrier.The campaign features key products that differentiate the airline in the Canadian market. And, as Canada's official supporter, the closing frames proudly carry the Vancouver Olympics and Paralympics logos. Conceived and created by Marketel Communications, the spots were directed by renowned Canadian film director, Francois Girard (Red Violin, Silk), and shot in Hong Kong and Paris, reinforcing Air Canada's preeminent position as Canada's global airline. They were produced by Cinélande, a Montréal-based international production company, with special effects applied
by Fly Studio, also in Montréal, making this production a proudly Canadian affair.
