Whether you were naughty or nice, it was luck of the draw!

The Rogers FR Facebook page Christmas contest was a huge success, tripling the number of fans in just one month.

Christmas was rockin’ over at the Rogers FR Facebook page. During the Concours un cadeau par jour (the Present-a-Day contest) that Marketel created for our client, fans channelled their younger years by eagerly returning to the page each day to open a new window on a digital advent calendar. But, unlike the cute advent calendars that your mother used to buy you, there were no chocolates behind these tiny doors, there were prizes! Among the 24 prizes there were four Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1’s up for grabs as well as some festive treats that were hand-selected by our “Marketelves,” including snow in a can, fruitcake, a customizable snow globe and everyone’s favourite – a Snuggie! The contest generated lots of buzz, tripling the number of fans on the page from 7,000 to 21,000 in just one month! The concept was amusing and engaging, and fans had a lot of fun participating.
