Venturing into the Dragons? Den.

 
Marketel is leveraging Rogers’ sponsorship of the new Radio-Canada show Dans l’œil du dragon with a little help from the Rogers squad.

Stepping into the Dragons’ Den can be a nerve-racking make or break moment for hopeful entrepreneurs looking to make a good impression on the awaiting venture capitalists. The hit CBC TV show Dragons’ Den is now airing in Quebec as Dans l'œil du dragon for a francophone audience on Radio-Canada, and Rogers is on board as an official partner.

To help leverage their sponsorship of the show, Marketel has created a 10-second billboard ad and a 30-second commercial for Rogers. The comical spots feature a member of the Rogers Squad and mimics the show’s theme and formula.

As part of the sponsorship of the show, Rogers is offering a “Coup de pouce technologique” (tech boost) of $7,000 in Rogers products and services as well as a consultation with a specialist to seven selected entrepreneurs on the show. Since the goal of the show is to illustrate and encourage entrepreneurship within the francophone community, the partnership with Rogers is ideal since the company shares the same values associated with the show.
