Team Marketel hit the ice at the fifth annual Coupe Grenier to take a shot at winning the cup.

With skates sharpened, the crowd roaring, and a coveted cup up for grabs, 12 Montreal agencies went head to head at the 2012 Coupe Grenier hockey tournament. Marketel fiercely competed amongst teams from Bleublancrouge, Boogie Studio, Bos, Cinélande, Cossette, Jet Films, La Cavalerie, lg2, pigefolio.com, Sid Lee and Nurun (the 2011 cup winners) at the Sportplexe 4 Glaces in Pierrefonds. While we didn’t bring home the cup this year, our team of six guys and one brave girl did manage to win two out of five games (which, ahem, happen to be our first two wins in the past three years – a new record, yeah!). Marketel’s team was supported by the biggest crowd of enthusiastic fans and cheerleaders, who proudly (and rowdily!) showed off their team spirit with face paint, homemade signs, and a whole lot of noise!

Congratulations to Bos for winning this year’s cup, and to our awesome, hard-playing team for bringing their best effort to the rink and scoring us a new winning streak!
