Marketel’s Bobby Destounis took a swift trip to New York City for Ad Tech, the digital marketing event that’s not to be missed.

As Marketel’s Social Media and Interactive Director (and digital dynamo!) Bobby Destounis is on a perpetual mission to seek out the latest and greatest tools to inspire and develop new digital strategies for our clients. So where better to go than the inspiration capital of the marketing world, New York City? The conference was brimming with industry professionals, entrepreneurs and brand ambassadors, all on site to share, consult, brainstorm and learn from each other. “They are all believers, together in one place. They believe in their products and embrace innovation, that’s what I like. You come back so inspired and full of ideas,” says Bobby of his industry peers. Featured speakers from around the globe included representatives from influential businesses such as Groupon, LinkedIn, Facebook and Google, amongst many others. “It was great to be in such an inspiring, innovative environment with North American leaders, sharing ideas on how we can make the web better,” says Bobby. Participants took part in engaging discussions and brainstorming sessions that provided Bobby with valuable new perspective and insights, allowing him to take a step back to see the big picture, reaffirming the fact that Marketel’s strategies are right on track with the industry’s digital curve. Although we can’t disclose what innovative tricks we have up our sleeve, Bobby is currently cooking up a digital presentation for our clients.
