Marking a Marketel milestone.

 
Marketel’s Suzanne Lecours is celebrating 30 years with the agency!

They say time flies when you’re having fun, or working at Marketel, where each hectically productive day seems to pass us by in the blink of an eye. For Project Manager Suzanne Lecours, this agency has now been a part of her life for 30 years. Since 1982, Suzanne has been tirelessly working on the Air Canada account. From Secretary to Coordinator to Project Manager, Suzanne has contributed to masses of major projects, from the famous winning seat campaigns to working with Celine Dion.

As testament to Suzanne’s sharpness and dedication, Chantal Brunet, Director of Tactical Services, recalls a certain incident that happened last year. While setting up a major Air Canada event in Toronto, it appeared that a crucial banner was missing. Suzanne received a frantic call at 11:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, asking her to help. She remembered seeing the banner at the office the day before, so without a moment’s hesitation she left the family celebration she was attending, jumped in her car, drove from Laval to Montreal, and raced up to the office to grab the banner. She then jetted off to the airport where she managed to get the banner on the next flight to Toronto. It arrived in time for the event and the show went on without a hitch!

“She is the one we can always count on,” says Chantal, “she gets things done with such energy. She has a certain spark.” Chantal recalls Suzanne breezing in the following Monday morning and saying, “Thank goodness I wasn’t celebrating too hard!” and laughing it off, showing her willingness to always go the extra mile.

“To be successful, every company must have a secret weapon. Well, after 30 years, Marketel can now reveal that Suzanne Lecours is that secret weapon. Suzanne has flawlessly taken care of numerous complex missions across Canada (and still does!) when organizing promotions and sponsorships for Air Canada. In this area, nothing is standard. That’s why what most people would consider a logistical nightmare, for Suzanne is just a walk in the park. Thank you, Suzanne, for being such a great asset to Marketel,” adds Jacques Duval, President and CEO, who has worked with Suzanne since day one.
