In honour of the Michael Jackson Immortal Cirque du Soleil show, Marketel created an iconic cover image for US publication, RoadBook Magazine.

RoadBook magazine is a US publication covering production, transportation, accommodations and everything to do with live entertainment support. In celebration of Cirque du Soleil’s show, Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, our client, Solotech called upon Marketel’s creative team to create a cover image for RoadBook magazine. They wanted an image that would capture the essence of Michael Jackson’s spirit and talent. The resulting image features Jackson’s signature black hat, tipped at that unforgettable angle of his most famous pose.

The cover image is to accompany an advertorial spread to take readers behind the scenes of the spectacular production for a sneak peak at the technical mastery used to bring the show to life. The advertorial talks about Solotech’s work on the tour that includes providing a world-class system for its sound, lighting, video and rigging. Marketel is thrilled at the great feedback regarding the cover image. This iconic moment frozen in time will undoubtedly live on in the hearts and minds of his fans for a lifetime.
