Account Supervisor, Sponsorship and Experiential Marketing

Right now we’re seeking an experienced, dynamic person to join our Sponsorship and Experiential Marketing team as an Account Supervisor, supporting the agency’s full client roster. He or she will assist in the identification, development and analysis of sponsorship programs and promotions for our clients, including current integrated brand campaigns. The Account Supervisor also supports the Director of Sponsorship and Experiential Marketing in cultivating new business opportunities.

Working closely with all other agency departments (especially Brand, Media and Digital), the Account Supervisor applies his or her creative prowess to help develop overall sponsorship strategies and brand sponsorship programs, and to leverage new media/digital to enhance sponsorship activation.

Industry knowledge, experience in sponsorship and creativity are essential. Sponsorship activities will primarily revolve around the Olympics, hockey, soccer, basketball, arts, music and entertainment. An understanding of the airline, telecommunication and banking industries is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Actively look to develop, evaluate and recommend strategic, co-marketing partnerships with other brands.
- Bring creative and strategic synergies to all sponsorship account initiatives.
- Assist with the design and implementation of key activation platforms.
- Develop creative briefs that will inspire unique and authentic sponsorship programs.
- Prepare post-event reports for all sponsorship programs and evaluate results.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Passionate and interested in sports and entertainment marketing.
- 5–7 years of experience in sports and entertainment sponsorship or marketing and events management at either an agency or for a brand is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Innovative and dynamic.
- Proactive and results-oriented.
- Flexible schedule: able to travel about 20 percent of the time (more during key events).
- Ability to work on a Mac using Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Professional digital and social media experience required.
- Strong analytic and budgeting skills for post-event analyses.
- Candidate must be bilingual (French and English).
- Excellent presentation skills in both languages.
